Flatcoat walk Dorset/Hampshire coast (near the New Forest)
Category : Southeast
Come and join us and our liver Flatcoat, Tarka,
for a walk on Sunday 30th November 2014 at 11.30am. (Due to some people’s concerns about the illness that has affected some New Forest dogs in recent winters here, the walk has been organised on the coast instead of on the Forest).
Meet in the car park at Highcliffe Castle near Christchurch on the East Dorset coast.
which is BH23 4LE.
Parking is free at this time of year but gather by the pay machine as a meeting point. From there we can go down onto the beach for our walk.
The tide should be low-ish and rising so hopefully a good time to be down there.
There is a café at the castle which does lunch and home made cakes, tea and coffee etc (dogs on leads to sit outside if the weather is nice, no dogs in the tearooms).
For anyone wanting to make a day of it the castle will be open to visitors that afternoon or I can advise not-so-local people about attractions in the area including the New Forest National Park which is a ten minute drive away.
For those wanting a walk on
the New Forest in the afternoon we can do that also.
Contact for the day is me, Jules, 07990 975971.by
